Women’s Health Journal is an open-access, online-only journal providing readers with information and strategies to meet the challenges facing today’s healthcare professionals working at the frontline of community-based women’s healthcare.
“Our mission is to help you make best practice everyday practice”.
In this role, we aim to provide educational and learning opportunities for healthcare professionals who are working in a primary care or community environment, managing women’s health, and ultimately transform the lives of millions of women.
Our mission encompasses key areas of activity:
- Education: To expand understanding of women’s healthcare with free to access news and commentaries, up-to-date articles and publications, case studies and on-line Continuing Professional Development (CPD) modules
- Alliance: To develop educational alliances with other UK societies to widely disseminate knowledge around women’s health
Women’s Health Journal will, from time to time, apply for educational funding from the healthcare industry as well as charities, government and non-government organisations focused on the prevention and treatment of women’s health related disorders. Partnering and supporting Women’s Health Journal ensures that we are able to continue to provide free educational material for our members.
In recognition of commitment to transparency and compliance with best practice, all support will be openly acknowledged and all material is submitted for editorial review which will be subject to the strict approval of the Editorial Board ensuring that “fair balance” is monitored.
